The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 19.0492 Wednesday, 20 August 2008 From: Michele Marrapodi <marrapod@unipa.it> Date: Tuesday, 19 Aug 2008 15:53:24 +0100 Subject: Barbara Hodgdon's _The Taming of the Shrew_ and Keir Elam's _Twelfth Night_ I have to disagree with John Briggs's comments on Keir Elam's edition of Twelfth Night for Arden 3. I have found Elam's textual notes extremely detailed and useful; whereas his brilliant Introduction, almost a monograph, is replete with suggestive and fascinating observations on the subtle ambiguity of the play's language.
