The *Post* combines original reporting with the most relevant news from the Internet to cover topics including theatre, scholarship, education, books, historical research, exhibitions and movies. The goal is to be the most complete, accessible and up-to-date source of Shakespeare news available on the web. *The Shakespeare Post* focuses on news from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia but regularly includes stories from all parts of the globe. The *Post* has a rapidly growing readership in more than forty countries on six continents. The site is designed for anyone with an interest in Shakespeare from scholars and theatre professionals to enthusiasts and casual readers. *The Shakespeare Post* is edited by John D. Lawrence. John is an Internet producer for Fox News Chicago. Before coming to Fox, he was a news producer for KRQE News 13, the CBS affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began his career in broadcast/online media at KNME-TV, New Mexico's largest public television station, where he served as the public affairs producer. As the *Post* evolves, new features will be added and more voices from the theatrical, scholarly and educational communities will be introduced.
