A list ripe for debate!

I'd certainly replace some of the more minor titles (I'll leave you to determine 
which these are) with Goethe's _Wilhelm Meister_ and Dickens' _Great 
Expectations_.  Along with Joyce's _Ulysses_, these are surely the greatest 
novels influenced by and alluding to _Hamlet_.

Since the list was published, Michael Gruber released his _The Book of Air and 
Shadows_ (Harper Collins, 2007), which would make a good addition to the list. 
Perhaps it's been discussed elsewhere at SHAKSPER (I've not searched yet)? It's 
a bit long and somewhat predictable near the end, but Gruber has done his 
homework and the Jacobean English and "ciphered" bits are quite good -- I wanted 
more of the Bracegirdle dairy/letters.
