Subject: OBE for Dr Robert Bearman

The Stratford Herald and the Coventry Telegraph, have both carried reports that
Dr Robert Bearman, archivist at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, has been
awarded the OBE (Order of the British Empire), "for services to heritage." He
will receive his honour, probably from the Queen, later this year.

The report in the Coventry Telegraph was accompanied by a photograph showing him
at work in his library, surrounded by labelled boxes, pouring over what appeared
to be a very ancient book, and peering over his glasses at the camera with a
very studious look.
