The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 19.0180 Friday, 28 March 2008 From: British Graduate Shakespeare C <britgrad@yahoo.com> Date: Thursday, 27 Mar 2008 08:04:25 -0700 (PDT) Subject: BritGrad Registration closes 25th April This is a reminder that the registration for The Tenth Annual British Graduate Shakespeare Conference closes on Friday 25th April. 'BritGrad' is a conference run by graduate students for graduate students and provides a supportive, friendly and stimulating environment in which to present a paper and meet postgraduate students from universities around the world. Taking place at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon it also enables delegates to make the most of the excellent resources at the Institute Library, Birthplace Trust Library and the Royal Shakespeare Company archives. If you would like to present a paper then visit our website for the registration form: www.shakespeare.bham.ac.uk/britgrad Since the call for papers first went out we have confirmed the following plenary speakers: Gary Taylor (Florida State University), Peter Holland (University of Notre Dame), Kate McLuskie (The Shakespeare Institute), Russell Jackson (University of Birmingham) and Stanley Wells (Shakespeare Birthplace Trust). The British Graduate Shakespeare Conference is also a lively social event and evening activities include a theatre trip to see the RSC's Taming of the Shrew (?12 a ticket) and a masked ball which is included in the conference fees. We look forward to hearing from you, The BritGrad Committee The Tenth Annual British Graduate Shakespeare Conference 19-21 June 2008 The Shakespeare Institute Mason Croft, Church Street Stratford-upon-Avon, WARKS CV37 6HP England _______________________________________________________________ S H A K S P E R: The Global Shakespeare Discussion List Hardy M.
