I did not "completely dismiss this sense." It is plausible that at this 
moment, maybe at other moments of the play, it is active. My argument 
was and is that at many other-many more other-moments, other aspects of 
the iconography of Mercury are dominant. Readers curious about this 
might review my earlier post.
