Subject: Ideal Reading of a Sonnet?

Helen Vendler tells us "--I am acutely conscious that for both textual
and acoustical reasons the ideal reading of the sonnets would be done by
a male voice".

I wonder if that ideal voice is Peter O'Toole reciting Sonnet 18 in his
soon to be released movie "VENUS"?

Best,
Elliott H. Stone
