How about "Lining" as in MACBETH's (I.iii) : "...or did line the rebel/ with hidden help..."? Happy to collaborate, Joe Egert [2]------------------------------------------------------------- From: Peter Bridgman <peter@pfjb.freeserve.co.uk> Date: Friday, 24 Nov 2006 20:06:11 -0000 Subject: 17.1037 Sonnet 146 Comment: Re: SHK 17.1037 Sonnet 146 Thanks to everyone who answered my query. I tried all the various solutions by reading them out loud, and my favourite was ... Poor soul, the centre of my sinful earth, Thrall to these rebel powers that thee array; Why dost thou pine within and suffer dearth, Painting thy outward walls so costly gay?
