From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 08/28/06
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 17.0741 Monday, 28 August 2006 From: S. L Kasten <kostensl@012.net.il> Date: Sunday, 27 Aug 2006 23:06:14 +0200 Subject: A Novel Study Method Today's Jerusalem Post featured an article entitled "Talmudic Study and Shakespeare" by Erin O'Farrel and Kimberly Stephens, a pair of teachers at Havergale, an Anglican upper crust girls' high school in Toronto. Far from using the type of textual exegesis we have seen at times on this list, the writers describe a method of classroom study involving conversational give and take, ideally between two students, as adapted to their specific arena. Teachers at the high school level may find it of interest, others may find amusing. The url is: http://www.jpost.com/ To get to the article scan down the menu on the left hand side of the jpost page below "sections". Click on the item Jewish World (!) and the article will be the first thing that comes up.
