The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 17.0412 Monday, 8 May 2006 From: Bill Lloyd <Bnklloyd@aol.com> Date: Saturday, 6 May 2006 10:47:14 EDT Subject: A really powerful Richard II Here's a post from the RENAIS-L list and a follow-up to the original RENAIS-L post. In my enthusiasm, I've now written a short review recommending the performance too: http://server4.moody.cx/index.php?id=440 Ellen Moody From: Ellen Moody <ellen2@JIMANDELLEN.ORG> Date: Friday, 5 May 2006 23:12:05 -0400 Subject: [RENAIS-L] A really powerful Richard II Dear all, If you live anywhere near DC or Virginia, allow me to recommend seeing _Richard II_ performed by the Washington Shakespare Theatre Group located at Clark Street Playhouse in Arlington, Va. Memorable performances by Christopher Henley as RII and Brian Hemmingsen as Bolingbroke. I believe it's playing through May 14th: www.washingtonshakespeare.org 703-418-4808 I stand to make no money and have no connection with the theatre. Tonight the audience was small and it's really not to be missed.
