From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 12/07/05
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 16.2019 Wednesday, 7 December 2005 From: Abigail Quart <aquart@worldnet.att.net> Date: Tuesday, 6 Dec 2005 23:34:44 -0500 Subject: 16.2013 Living Characters Comment: RE: SHK 16.2013 Living Characters Don Bloom says anyone who commits murder is a murderer and I have to agree. Hamlet is a murderer: Polonius. Rosencrantz. Guildenstern. Laertes and Claudius were self-defense. Thus we need not consider that "he was likely, had he been put on,/ To have prov'd most royal." _______________________________________________________________ S H A K S P E R: The Global Shakespeare Discussion List Hardy M.
