From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 08/19/05
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 16.1347 Friday, 19 August 2005 From: Hannibal Hamlin <hamlin.22@osu.edu> Date: Thursday, 18 Aug 2005 10:28:41 -0400 Subject: 16.1330 The Sonnets and the Plays Comment: Re: SHK 16.1330 The Sonnets and the Plays Romeo and Juliet is perhaps the best fit. Not only does it contain several sonnets (most notably at the meeting of R and J), but the whole thing is thoroughly steeped in the Petrarchan tradition.
