Subject: What was Elizabeth I's voice like?

What was Elizabeth I's voice like? In that I mean, what was the quality
of her voice? Was it good or bad? Contemporaneously described at all?

There are plenty of praises and over-praises of her beauty, erudtion,
and so on. I found nothing about her voice.

This is a matter which has arisen in my research. I ask forum members
here for ideas, direction, even speculation on this matter.

FYI one Elizabeth authority suggested to me a good place to start would
be the dispatches of the Scots ambassador Maitland, so for one I would
like to talk with any persons familiar with Maitland and his papers.
