Subject:        Unproductive Threads

In my opinion, there is little if any reason to continue the three
threads (SHK 16.9416 through 16.0417) that follow this message.

These threads have moved into discussions of strongly held beliefs
(i.e., matters of faith).  Faith by its very definition is unshakable;
it is maintained without regard to what non-believers might consider
fact or reason.

I, therefore, question why anyone would want to continue arguing with
persons whose minds apparently are not open to being changed; this, of
course, is a characterization of those on both sides of the divide here.
I would urge members to le these threads die and not to prolong them
endlessly.
