The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 16.0091 Tuesday, 18 January 2005 From: William Godshalk <godshawl@email.uc.edu> Date: Monday, 17 Jan 2005 15:35:07 -0500 Subject: 16.0082 "The Renaissance Horse": A Call for Contributors Comment: Re: SHK 16.0082 "The Renaissance Horse": A Call for Contributors In his call for essays on the Renaissance English horse, Kevin De Ornellas writes: "Throughout, the horse's head and face must always loom large in every essay." But given London's incredible sewage problems, the other end of the horse must have loomed large in the noses, if not the eyes, of sixteenth and seventeenth century Londoners.
