SHAKSPER 2004: R and J Spinoff
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 12/15/04
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 15.2112 Wednesday, 15 December 2004 From: Norman Hinton <hinton@springnet1.com> Date: Tuesday, 14 Dec 2004 10:55:05 -0600 Subject: 15.2103 R and J Spinoff Comment: Re: SHK 15.2103 R and J Spinoff Thanks for the note on Brookmyre ! Our town library actually has two of his books -- will get them the next time I go. It's not easy to get Scottish or even northern English detective novels here -- our library has a few Peter Turnbulls but not nearly all of them, and other good Scottish writers are equally hard to find. Even south of the border, Ian Rankin was hard to find before he became so popular. At least it's not "Scotland Yard or nothing" any more. _______________________________________________________________ S H A K S P E R: The Global Shakespeare Discussion List Hardy M.
