Subject: Machiavelli Radio Programme

For anyone who would welcome a quick and painless introduction to
Machiavelli (biographical and historical context together with a
discussion of The Prince and its influence), the BBC broadcast a half
hour programme last week in a conversational format between three
academics and the programme host, Melvyn Bragg. The BBC's latest
innovation is to offer this programme as an MP3 download (about 12 MB),
rather than the 'continuous stream' that has up until now been available
from its website. It's therefore possible to download this programme to
use at your leisure. The BBC also offers a download of 'Real Player'
from its site to enable listening to radio via the website.

Hurry. I think this possibility will expire on Thursday because the
Machiavelli download will be replaced by this week's new programme.
