The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 15.2058 Tuesday, 7 December 2004 From: Richard Burt <rburt@english.ufl.edu> Date: Monday, 6 Dec 2004 20:45:43 -0500 Subject: Shakespeare in Comics There's a computer simulation of part of Henry V in X-men Unlimited no. 5 December 2004, and there is an English graphic novel adaptation of JC called Julius by Anthony Johnston and Brett Weldele. The text has been modernized and the setting is black gansta, East End London kind of (like the BBC Othello). The comic laid out in Acts, and each page announcing a new Act has a line form the play (not modernized).
