SHAKSPER 2004: Rosencrunch & Guildenpop
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 12/07/04
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 15.2053 Tuesday, 7 December 2004 From: Susan St. John <suzer22@earthlink.net> Date: Friday, 03 Dec 2004 07:23:27 -0700 Subject: Rosencrunch & Guildenpop I received my latest Trader Joe's flyer (for those who don't know, TJ's is a sort of gourmet grocery store that imports unusual foods and beverages from around the world) and I had to laugh out loud when I got to this entry: To crunch or not to crunch? Rosencrunch & Guildenpop Clusters of Popcorn & Nuts You really would have to be nuts to choose the "not to crunch" option. This nutty combination of candied pecans, almonds and sweet buttered popcorn would have made even the moody Danish prince happy. Rosencrunch & Guildenpop is a sweet and crunchy snack that's much sweeter than its literary namesakes. The all natural caramel coating keeps the nuts and popcorn together, so you get popcorn and nuts in virtually every bite. In addition to its sweetness, this snack has many other fine attributes not shared by its Shakespearean forebears: no artificial flavors or colors, no preservatives, and it's certified kosher. 12 oz tin $2.99 Still laughing, Susan St. John _______________________________________________________________ S H A K S P E R: The Global Shakespeare Discussion List Hardy M.
