(We were perhaps lucky in not having shop or gym),-- to our surprise, our Business faculty already had in-service training in grading writing,,,, Some departments, of course, refused to take part in this, and some of them had enough clout to avoid administrative pressure. But it sure beat the older method of doing nothing and them complaining.
