SHAKSPER 2004: 2 Gents on pinkmonkey
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 10/04/04
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 15.1809 Monday, 4 October 2004 From: Susan St. John <suzer22@earthlink.net> Date: Friday, 01 Oct 2004 19:28:29 -0700 Subject: 2 Gents on pinkmonkey My high school advanced acting class is studying and producing TGV this fall (a la a 60's beach party movie). I found a fun web site that we have used for research (although one of my assignments was for them to tell me what facts the website had WRONG regarding the plot and characters). There is a nice message board area that we have been using. I would like to invite any of you and/or your students to join in our conversations. My students are thrilled by the idea that someone other than *us* would participate! There is no need to register or sign in; anyone can post. Our discussion thus far has been very rudimentary...and these are students in a very urban, low-income area, so please take their spelling/grammer/ebonics/internet-ese with a grain of salt BTW - I have no financial interest in pinkmonkey.com, but they have pretty simple descriptions of the story, themes and characters from all of Shakespeare and much, much more! I have no idea who puts it together, but I'd appreciate hearing opinions on the accuracy of the site from the scholars on the list. Hope some of you will join our discussion!
