There will be a conference on 'Teaching Shakespeare' in Royal Holloway
English Department.

Featuring:

Professor Terence Hawkes, author of Shakespeare in the Present

Dr Sean McEvoy, author of Shakespeare: The Basics, on teaching
Shakespeare in schools

Dr Christie Carson, co-editor of the Cambridge 'King Lear' CD-Rom on
teaching Shakespeare through IT

Joanna Laurens, award-winning RSC Writer-in-Residence, on Shakespeare
and creativity

The Conference will close with an exclusive performance of an extract
from Joanna Laurens's current RSC play, Poor Beck.
