During a little ceremony at the Shakespeare Centre I've just been
reading aloud from Leigh Hunt's charming essay 'Shakespeare's Birthday',
printed on 3 May 1820, which begins 'Next Friday, making the proper
allowance of twelve days from the 23rd of April, according to the change
of the Style, is the birthday of Shakespeare.'

So should we postpone the celebrations? Or just have two sets?
