SHAKSPER 2004: (no subject)
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 03/02/04
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 15.0578 Tuesday, 2 March 2004 From: Hardy M. Cook <editor@shaksper.net> Date: Tuesday, March 02, 2004 Subject: Sex, Politics, and Time Dear SHAKSPEReans, I have decided summarily to end two threads: "Cordelia (Lack of Insolence)" and "Band of Brothers and U.S. Presidential Campaign." I could provide an apology and detailed justification, but I am not going to. As editor-moderator, I generally err on the side of the inclusive; however, at this point, I simply do not feel I have the time to edit what could easily become two endless threads that are only tangentially related to Shakespeare and that, in the end, will not solve or prove anything. When I was first considering ending the Cordelia thread, I was going to mention two of my favorite films -- Roshamon and Rules of the Game -- I'll spare you. Hardy M. Cook Editor PS: If anyone would like to read the final contributions to either of both of these two threads, please send me an e-mail and I will forward them to you. _______________________________________________________________ S H A K S P E R: The Global Shakespeare Discussion List Hardy M.
