Dear list -

I am thinking about directing Two Gents next fall for my high school
advanced acting class, and I was wondering about your experiences with
Crab, the dog.

Have you seen (or been involved in) productions with a live dog? what
type/size? problems or pluses?

Have you seen (or been involved in) productions with something other
than a real live dog? what was used instead? problems or pluses?

Have you seen BOTH types, or multiple productions? How did they compare?

I had a real dog for toto in THE WIZ last year, but he had very little
stage time.

Thanks for your input,
Susan St. John
