Subject:        Merchant of Venice Film Update

The Arclight Films, the production company for the upcoming Michael
Radford film "Merchant of Venice," now has the film listed as in
pre-production on their site, www.arclightfilms.com.  It appears that
Ian McKellen has been replaced by Jeremy Irons.  There isn't much detail
yet, but there is a preliminary promotional poster which can be
downloaded at the site.
