Well, thanks. 'Twasn't too hard for a translator to figure out, though.
I'm afraid that credit for my apparent foresight must go to Bill Gates,
however. My PC's been stuck on the 4th of July 1990 for a month or so,
no matter what I do--if anything at all--every time I manage to turn it
on. Then again, I always lie about my age.
Best,
Alfredo Michel Modenessi

Tom Pendleton's clues are impressively cryptic. I've managed three (I
think), but the other five have foxed me for the moment.
The Architect's Relict
Not sure about this but could it be the widow Vitravio (from Vitruvius?)
- Romeo and Juliet?
Mr. Death (or maybe Mr. World)
Monsieur Lamord/Lamond - Hamlet
The Obstetrical Ms. Otis Skinner
Cornelia the midwife - Titus Andronicus
