A friend of mine points out that this is "one of Gillray's most famous
images", and explains, "Gillray was not invited to take part in the
Boydell Shakespeare, which was very successful (so much so that it
signalled a new commercial market for this type of print). So there's a
bit of sour grapishness here. Also, notice the slash at Fuseli (look at
Bottom!)"
