There's a classic B&W French film production (1939)of VOLPONE, with
Harry Bauer & Louis Jouvet (English subtitles), that's probably
available through Poor Yorick. There's also Joseph Mankewicz's rather
tedious spin-off, THE HONEY POT, with Rex Harrison, who, after watching
a stage production of VOLPONE decides to trick his friends, etc. One
gets a glimpse of the stage production at the beginning of the movie.

Best wishes,
Jim Lake
