From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@shaksper.net) Date: 12/19/02
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 13.2436 Thursday, 19 December 2002 From: D.F. Coye <Dalecoye@aol.com> Date: Wednesday, 18 Dec 2002 10:42:13 EST Subject: Pronouncing Shakespeare's Words in Paperback Over the years several list members have asked about my book "Pronouncing Shakespeare's Words: A Guide from A to Zounds" (all the hard words, foreign phrases, proper nouns, in scene-by-scene presentation), asking when the paperback would be out. It finally is here, published by Routledge last month (ISBN 0-415-94182-2) for about $20.00, but! unfortunately they would only agree to an abridged version--the 21 "Best Known" plays and no poems. I've already gotten requests for some of the plays not in that volume. I have regained the rights and can have them sent for a small handling fee. Write me off-list if interested D.F.
