An addendum: Barbara Windsor, former Carry On regular and currently one
of the Square's foremost matriarchs, was interviewed this afternoon on
the weirdly eclectic Steve Wright in the Afternoon show on BBC Radio 2;
when asked about unfulfilled ambitions, she expressed a desire to 'do'
Shakespeare - preferably 'the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet'.  Which to me
sounds like sublime casting. If only...
