(Inspired) parody aside, does it bug anyone else besides me that W., like Claudius, does not openly admit that he has a drinking problem? (Inasmuch as anyone who is a sober alcoholic is still regarded as a *recovering* alcoholic, rather than a *former* alcoholic, I mean.) Would the state totter if he did make such an admission? Does the fact that he has not made such an admission signify that he is more likely than the average monarch to abuses of power related to draining draughts of Rhenish down? Is *this* why nations traduce and tax us? By the way, he popped the election and twisted my hopes, too.
