Dear Colleagues,

In my last post on this topic, I suffered major brain failure and wrote
“1 & 3” when I meant to say “2”.  How do such things happen?   Tends to
undermine credibility.   Apologies.

I thank Peter Groves for his gentleness when he said:  “I don’t much
care about the <ch>, but if you give the word “1 & 3  emphasis” you’ll
scupper the metre of just about every verse line it.”  Thanks.
