Perhaps I missed the posting--they do pile up this time of year.  The
novel by the late Dorothy Dunnett, <King Hereafter>, deserves mention
even if for a second time.  Dunnett uses similar sources to Aitchison’s
in her imaginative fictionalizing of the historical Macbeth--a good read
for winter break!
