SHAKSPER 2001: Shakespeare Library in Munich
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@ws.bowiestate.edu) Date: 12/03/01
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 12.2720 Monday, 3 December 2001 From: Monica Matei-Chesnoiu <mchesnoiu@fx.ro> Date: Sunday, 2 Dec 2001 13:30:45 +0200 Subject: Shakespeare Library in Munich Dear Shakespeareans, I have to remind you that, when in Munich, visiting the Shakespeare Library (in the University building) is a MUST. For Europeans it is a compact treasure of materials (all in one place). Otherwise, one would spend weeks to track all the data. Dr. Ingeborg Boltz is very efficient and helpful, and the cross-reference listing is amazingly eloquent. I must thank Professor Andreas Hoeffele, the Director of the Shakespearean Library, for having given me access to such a good source for my research.
