The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 12.2297 Friday, 5 October 2001 From: Gabriel Egan <ge@totus.org> Date: Thursday, 4 Oct 2001 17:30:20 +0100 Subject: 12.2290 Re: Globe Research Seminar in Early Modern Comment: Re: SHK 12.2290 Re: Globe Research Seminar in Early Modern Drama Stuart Manger asks about the Globe Education staged readings of non-Shakespearian drama: > Are cassettes / CD's ever likely to be made > commercially available? The readings are digitally recorded (sound only), but facilities for listening to the recordings are limited. This is currently under scrutiny and I hope shortly to announce greatly improved access to these resources. > Will the texts used also be available for > commercial purchase from Globe Education? The Globe Quartos series is a joint venture of Globe Education and Nick Hern Books with an editorial board of David Scott Kastan, Tom Berger, and Gordon McMullan. The series aims to make available modernized, scholarly edited, texts of these plays. > Unless I missed it, I don't think the actual date(s) > was on the recent posting? "The first meeting will take place on 4 November 2001" at 12noon. Thanks for the opportunity to repeat that.
