Subject:        Vancouver Ren. Conference

The Pacific Northwest Renaissance Society is extending the call for
papers for the 2001 conference to be held  at the University of British
Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.  The conference dates are May 10-12,
2001.   This year's special topic is "Renaissance Styles and Renaissance
Status" although the conference organizers also welcome contributions in
any field of Renaissance studies.   The deadline for submission of
proposals is February 15, 2001.  We request individual presentation
proposals of 250 words maximum and panel proposals of 500 words maximum.
