Subject:        Re: Macbeth on Channel 4

The RSC production of Macbeth with Antony Sher (now Sir Antony) and
Harriet Walter, directed by Gregory Doran, will, I gather, be screened
in the UK on Channel 4 on New Year's Day. There will, eventually, also
be a video release. SHAKSPERians might like to know that the production
was filmed in the Roundhouse in London where the Hamlet starring Nicol
Williamson was staged and filmed many years ago. The stage production of
this Macbeth was tremendous and I have high hopes that it will have
transferred well to television.
