SHAKSPER 2000: Shakespearean Pairings
From: Hardy M. Cook (editor@ws.bowiestate.edu) Date: 12/01/00
The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 11.2214 Friday, 1 December 2000 From: Celia Maddox <CMaddox325@aol.com> Date: Thursday, 30 Nov 2000 17:49:07 EST Subject: Shakespearean Pairings For a course I'm assembling, I wonder if anyone can suggest non-Shakespearean plays (modern or contemporary) that have worked well alongside a Shakespearean play. I'd particularly like to find a mate for Macbeth. The course is for adults and I'd like to find something more provocative than, say, Macbird. Please reply off-line or on. Thanks, Celia Maddox
