Subject: Leontes

It has just been brought to my attention that there is a necrophiliac
named Leontes in the 3rd book of Plato's *Republic*. I had no idea.

Can anyone a) tell me if there's an article on *The Winter's Tale* that
discusses this connection, or b) point me to a good reference work about
Shakespeare's names?

Thank you!!!
