Well, it is hardly unusual for Mr. Stetner and I to disagree:

In fact, only one name is common to both A Shrew and The Shrew,
Katherine.  The locale is changed, and the dialogue is largely
(completely?) rewritten.

Even reasons given for some actions are different.  Kate says she'll
accept Ferando because it is time she married, a motivation Shakespeare
did not supply.  As I believe another pointed out, the reasons for
wifely obedience at the end are entirely different.

The changes between Q1 Hamlet and Q2/F are far less radical than those
between A and The Shrew.
