Subject:        Davenent's Redaction of MM and ADO Performing at CCNY May 5-6

The Theatre Program of the City College of New York presents William
Davenant's *The Law Against Lovers*, directed by Kate D. Levin.  This is
probably the U.S. premiere and the first revival of Davenant's 1662
adaptation and combination of *Measure for Measure* and *Much Ado About
Nothing*.  Performances are Thursday, May 4 at 12:15 and 7:00; Friday,
May 5 at 7:00; and Saturday, May 6 at 7:00 in Theatre B of Aaron Davis
Hall, 134th St. and Convent Avenue (one block east of Amsterdam Ave. in
Manhattan).  Admission is free, but seating is limited; arrive early to
