The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 11.0861 Wednesday, 19 April 2000. From: Andrew W. White <awhite@wam.umd.edu> Date: Tuesday, 18 Apr 2000 20:59:31 -0400 Subject: Poison Through the Ear I'm logging in perhaps too late on this thread, but wasn't there an actual murder near to the time Hamlet was produced, in which someone was murdered through poison in the ear? Or was it simply a murder for a man's estate and his wife? I seem to recall something to that effect in Shakespeare A-Zed, but can't remember the specifics. Andrew White Arlington, VA
