Subject: Teaching Mrs. Tingle and Willy
The film Teaching Mrs. Tingle (dir. Kevin Williamson, 1999) has two
Shakespeare references, one to Hamlet (Mrs. Tingle refers to one of the
girls, played by Katie Holmes of Dawson's Creek, Disturbing Behavior,
and Go, as "Ophelia") and another to Romeo and Juliet (the other girl,
an aspiring actress, addresses a dog as Romeo and does Juliet's first
lines in the balcony scene, and Mrs. Tingle-played by Helen Mirren-tells
her she will never be a Juliet because she lacks the passion).

In the business section of the NY Times, Wednesday, December 22, 1999,
there's a well-written story about new management training courses using
Shakespeare, and a mention of three recent books on the topic.
