From: Phil Rogers <rogersp@qsilver.queensu.ca> Date: Thursday, 09 Dec 1999 11:54:07 -0500 Subject: 10.2175 Re: Latin Pronunciation Comment: Re: SHK 10.2175 Re: Latin Pronunciation There's a discussion of English pronunciation of Latin by the philologist Henry Bradley in one of the pieces in his Collected Papers (1920). Two more recent treatments of Latin pronunciation in the Renaissance are Harold Copeman, Singing in Latin or Pronunciation Explor'd (Oxford 1990) and a chapter by Alison Wray in the Peter Le Huray memorial volume, _English Choral Practice 1400-1650_ (Cambridge, 1995).
