The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 10.2182 Thursday, 9 December 1999. From: Brother Anthony <anthony@ccs.sogang.ac.kr> Date: Wednesday, 08 Dec 1999 08:58:29 +0900 Subject: 10.2147 Re: Doctored Facsimiles Comment: Re: SHK 10.2147 Re: Doctored Facsimiles I was quite amazed to discover the two facsimile resources. I only knew the etext transcriptions. I would very much like to ask if anyone can explain why the Brandeis facsimile is lodged in the Perseus Project but, so far as I can see, nowhere listed in their Table of Contents? And will the Furness Library be continuing to add texts to the Shakespeare resource until it covers all the plays (Please!). The quality of the reproductions on the Furness Library page strikes me as quite outstanding, I can feel the grain of the paper on my screen, virtually! Thanks for pointing out these resources.
