Try Anthony James West, "Provisional Census of the Shakespeare First
Folio," The Library, Sixth Series XVII (1) March, 1995:60-73 and West,
"In Search of Missing Copies of the Shakespeare First Folio," The Book
Collector XXXIII (3), Autumn, 1994.

You will find more than 70 First Folios at the Folger Shakespeare
Library in D.C; I haven't checked, but I imagine that the updated
Short-Title Catalogue of English Books 1475-1640 will have a more
current census.

The person you want to search is Anthony James West. He continues to
track down copies and states of the First Folio. Articles in The
Library, Shakespeare Quarterly, and Analytical and Enumerative
Bibliography, among others.

Good hunting,
