We seek a Ph.D. in English Renaissance literature. Secondary interest in either law and literature or medieval literature is desirable. Candidates should be committed to teaching composition and literature surveys; teaching opportunities are also available within our M.A. program. The Citadel, a state-supported, co-educational college within a military setting, is located in historic Charleston, South Carolina.
