The Shakespeare Conference: SHK 8.0329. Thursday, 7 March 1997. From: Fredric Stone <FStoneact@aol.com> Date: Thursday, 6 Mar 1997 15:45:17 -0500 (EST) Subject: An Original One Person Shakespeare Show To Hardy Cook, Louis Marder suggested I contact you to help spread the word about this new show entitled Will and Testament (a life after death comedy) written by Fredric Stone and William Shakespeare and performed by acclaimed Chicago actor, Fredric Stone. Louis saw the show recently and recommends it highly. The theatre performance incorporates a dozen Shakespeare selections/monologues from a wide variety of plays. Set in Heaven, this contemporary fantasy follows a modern day actor attempting to get into a new company in Heaven, directed by the Bard and produced byGod. God and Shakespeare are characters on audiotape. I tour this play around the country. I was invited last Spring to perform it at the World Shakespeare Congress in Los Angeles. My next performances are: March 11 and 12 (10am) and March 12 (8pm) at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. I continue to book the show year round. I have a website for the show that I thought you could pass on to your membership. http://members.tripod.com/fstoneact/w_t.html I also can provide written materials, brochures and packets for anyone interested in bringing the show to their performance facility. Please let me know if you can help in any way to let people know about the show. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for your time. Sincerely, Fred Stone (Will and Testament Productions) 773-334-4196 fstoneact@aol.com
