                     Fourth Annual

FESTIVAL THEME:   "Myth, Magic and Ritual"

F.O.O.T. is an annual, five day, multi-faceted conference and arts
festival encompassing film, performance, academic papers and workshops
in a spirit of cross-disciplinary exchange and exploration.  The theme
of this year's F.O.O.T.  is Myth, Magic and Ritual as it relates to the
Arts.

The F.O.O.T. steering committee is now accepting proposals for academic
papers which do not exceed 20 minutes in delivery time, and which
explore any aspect of this year's theme.  Submissions from academic
disciplines outside of the Arts are especially encouraged.  Proposals
should include your name, address, telephone number, fax number or
e-mail address, title of your paper, and a 500-word abstract outlining
your topic and its relevance to this year's theme.  If available, please
include a copy of your completed paper.

Please mail your proposal to the address below.  Note: retain a copy of
your proposal and paper; F.O.O.T. cannot be held responsible for lost
